Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) is a nonprofit, independent organ and tissue donor network authorized by the federal government to serve 5.5 million people in 84 counties in Tennessee, 10 counties in Virginia, 3 counties in Georgia and 1 county in Kentucky.

TDS is dedicated to supporting families in our community who have lost loved ones by providing an opportunity to donate life through organ, tissue and eye donation.

Mountain Region Donor Services volunteer, Cheryl Vincent, and friends created this poignant "YouTube" video for National Donate Life Month to highlight the importance of organ donation.  You can register to be a donor in Tennessee by clicking on the link at the top of the page or when you renew your driver's license by checking "yes" to donation every time.  In Tennessee and Virginia, if you document your decision to donate, your family cannot override your wishes.

REGISTER ORGAN & TISSUE DONORS

Chicago, Ill. – Donorsaur, Heartman, Dottie The Dot, Honey Bee and Morgan D‟ Organ. These are no ordinary mascots. This is no ordinary mission. 

April 1 marks the start of National Donate Life month, a time when organ/tissue donation advocates and supporters nationwide celebrate the lifesaving gifts that are shared by thousands of donors each year. The reality of the matter is that registering to be a donor is a very simple, quick process but spreading the word about donation is far more difficult. This year is set to be different as donation mascots across the country are uniting to take action in support of National Donate Life Month.  (read more)
